Womanspeak

Womanspeak was founded in 1979 by a collective of Vassar College women students as "a space for women's energies, both creative and critical." The paper included news articles, editorial pieces, fiction and poetry, event announcements, and reviews. The paper foundered in Fall 1992 due to a lack of funding, too few contributors, and a lack of diversity among those contributors.
